I'm tired of people talking that I'm not a girl because I like what
they think as boys' activities like martial art, watching soccer match,
and computer programming. I'm sure that there is ample number of women
in this world who are just like me, that people say as geek. So let's
break that stereotype and barrier, girls, that beauty can be geek too,
oh I mean beauty must be geek!
If you wonder how this "Beauty Must
Be Geek" came, this is the answer. I was talking to a good friend of
mind and I told him that I want to make a blog which can cover the theme
of both geekiness and womanhood. I was thinking that it would be titled
"Geek and Beautiful" which might be sound like "Weird and Wonderful".
And then I came with "Beauty And the Geek", but it's already taken by a
TV show in Aussie. Finally my friend came with the "Beauty Must Be Geek"
and it sounds perfect before we argued which one is the best between
"Beauty Must Be Geek" or "Geek Must Be Beauty". He made me realize that
not all of geek is beautiful, because there is also males who are geek,
though I think males can be beautiful too (remember that those classical
novels from UK describe beautiful woman as handsome woman?).
So
geek girls, I want to share you about what is happening in our world.
